Excellent location. Close enough to the Haneda airport, but the airport doesn't disturb you at all. Friendly and helpful staff, I had some questions about how to do this or that during my stay, but all of them were quickly resolved. The room was very nice, clean and neat. Good air conditioner, a lot of sockets around the room, nice smelling shampoo and other bathroom stuff, a lot of towels - in short all the small details for convenient stay were there. Especially I liked buttons designed to switch on/off all the lights in the room near the headboard. I was happy to find out that there were also washing machine and drying machine on one of the floors + vending machine with some water and stuff. I was able to wash and dry all of my clothes approximately in 1,5h without going and looking for some place to do it anywhere outside the hotel. Convenience stores like Family Mart or Lawson can be found nearby. Bus station and Kamata subway station are also not far from the hotel. It was a great place to stay at while exploring Tokyo.

The room was ok as regards the space. The hotel is located on a back street and I could not hear much noise from the street. Air conditioning was also ok. The bathroom was well equipped. Location was good with 7/11 shop 100m away and the JR railway station (Kamata) 5 minutes away by foot, from there (25 min to Tokyo Station, 20 min. to Shimbashi Station where you can see Ghibli Clock and change for another JR line to Shibuya/Shinjuku). Just note that Kamata is on a commuters line so it can get very crowded during rush hours on work days, which could pose some challenge if you travel in a group with suitcases (but if you take the train after 9am it is suddenly becoming less crowded). The staff from the hotel was very friendly, provided advice on useful places nearby, lent us umbrellas when it was raining outside, etc. The hotel offered free tea/coffee next to the reception. Overall, fairly convenient location and good value for money.

The staff were nice and professional. We had to leave for the airport by taxi and the staff who helped us that morning was so nice. Mr. Ram communicated our needs to the taxi drivers and got me, my family, and their huge luggage to the airport with no problem. I will definitely stay here again because of him. I like the simple breakfast they had, but it's not the hotel's fault that so many guests didn't follow the rules and took more than what they should have. There are lots of restaurants and convenience stores in the area. And the convenience of having the train station there is what sold me on this property.

I like the room we got this time. Not so cramped I guess because it’s a double. We didn’t have to go thru same process again giving passport details as they already knew we were previous guests. We got our key straight away. I like how we can leave luggage after check out. It has one drier & washing machine. There is a money exchange machine in the foyer. Tea, coffee, soup packet all day in the foyer. All staff fluent in English easy to communicate.

Nothing to dislike about this hotel, great location for food, perfect for tube station just two hundred metres away, mixture of Japanese and Nepalese hotel staff,if you're looking for the ideal base, look no more, red roof kamata is the place to stay,I tried to book extra nights because that's how I roll, but fully booked up, gutted to leave,and try my luck in other hotel, staying in other hotel but miss my comfortable easy going redroof kamata,
